K-2: Crescent Beach - Walk from the Sea Point Beach parking lot to the other end of Sea Point Beach. Walk across Sea Point to Crescent Beach.

Maine's Beach Action Value (BAV or safety threshold) for Enterococcus bacteria in marine waters is 104 MPN/100mL. MHB recommends posting an Elevated Bacteria Advisory when results are ≥ BAV. Posting decisions are made by participating Management Entities, which are the towns, parks, or associations responsible for managing the beach.

Notice: Moderate to heavy rainfall can increase bacteria levels at the beach. It is recommended to avoid water contact for at least 24-48hrs after rainfall ceases.
