Ferry Beach and Pine Point Beach (Hurd Park Beach) are not staffed but parking lots are open from 9 am to 6 pm everyday.

Maine's Beach Action Value (BAV or safety threshold) for Enterococcus bacteria in marine waters is 104 MPN/100mL. MHB recommends posting an Elevated Bacteria Advisory when results are ≥ BAV.
